Ferjulian Family

Ferjulian’s Farm has been proudly family owned and operated for 85 years.

Meet the Ferjulian’s

Manouel & Marie

The Ferjulian Farm legacy began in 1941 when Manouel Ferjulian, an Armenian immigrant living in Cambridge, purchased a 65-acre orchard atop Gospel Hill in Hudson, Massachusetts. Manouel, his wife Marie, and their three children Eunice, Manouel Vincent (deceased 2010), and Mae grew the business through selling apples to local stores and clearing woodlands to expand farm-able land.

Manouel Vincent & Alice

After attending Valley Forge Military Academy, Manouel Vincent returned to the farm and took over the business when his father died in 1963. He met his soon-to-be wife, Alice, when she came to pick apples on a visit from her home country of Greece. They had three children, Bruce, Joanne, and Eric. Together, Manny and Alice expanded the farm by raising turkeys, growing fruits, vegetables and flowers. The first greenhouse was built in 1972 and soon after Eric and Manouel Vincent built the farm stand that is still standing today.

Alice, at 89, still keeps the farm’s bookwork organized and cooks for the family in between caring for her many gardens.

Eric & Erin

Eric and his wife Erin are third-generation owners of Ferjulian’s Farm.

Eric was made to be a farmer. His energy and positive spirit are the backbones of everything that happens on the farm. His high standards from growing and buying to field organization and equipment upkeep are what sets Ferjulian’s apart. He is also a lifelong learner who is always willing to try new varieties or methods and adapt when change is necessary.

Erin met Eric at Gordon College where the two were studying business. She married Eric—and the farm—and has proven to be one of the best things that could have happened to both! She’s been the face of the farm stand for over 40 years and is ever attentive to keeping all that we grow and sell looking its’ best. What’s most important to Erin are her customers and the many friendships she’s built through the years.

Eric and Erin have three children, Leah, Natalie, and Berge.

Berge

Berge, a fourth-generation Ferjulian, is the farm project person. His focus on integrating modern technology in areas like irrigation, drainage, nutrient application, greenhouse growing, equipment and equipment modification has resulted in more efficient and productive farming. His goal is to bring affordable, quality, produce to the community.

When he’s not working, Berge can be found cooking with his family, visiting farmer friends or building something for his kids.

Berge is a graduate of Gordon College. He and his wife Rachael have six children, Olive, Poppy, Pearl, Clementine, Honey, and Berge Jr.

Natalie

Natalie, a fourth-generation Ferjulian, has loved flowers since her Dad handed her a dahlia catalogue as a child and let her pick new tuber varieties to trial. In 2019 she started the Cut Flower Garden and is continually fascinated and challenged by the many hats required of a flower farmer. Seeing the joy that picking flowers brings visitors is her favorite part of working at the farm.

In addition to growing flowers, Natalie manages the farm stand, marketing, and communications.

Natalie is a graduate of Gordon College. She and her husband Scott have two children, Wesley and Jack. When she’s not at the farm, she’s mountain biking, skiing, or swimming with her boys.
